Our ground-floor location has free parking outside, as well as an accessible space for those with mobility needs, or for convenient load-ins and load-outs.

Access to Flux Studio is made via our oversized bi-fold door system. That means, should your project require, you can drive-up, and drive-in – perfect for automotive shoots, or where you have oversized products to load-in.

Our single-level space also features accessible bathroom facilities, with 820mm wide door access, a lowered sink and grab rails.

How can I hire your photography studio?
To book a session at Flux studio, you’ll need to submit an enquiry via the form below, and we’ll get back to you about photography studio hire.

Can I film at Flux studio?
Yes! You may book our kitchen set or infinity cove for this purpose.

How big is your infinity cove?
5.1m wide by 5.9m deep, with 600mm curve radius. The cove wall reaches up to 3.4m high, with plenty of clearance above that. High enough for an elephant, but not a giraffe. Not that we condone borrowing zoo animals for a shoot.

Is the kitchen set fully functional?
Yes! We have an electric cooker, induction hob with 4 rings, solid oak worktops, belfast sink, American fridge, and the pièce de résistance is the Quooker hot water tap, to keep you topped up with tea or coffee all day long. The kitchen island is moveable for your flexibility, and we’ve got a microwave and cleaning apparatus tucked away should you need them. In addition to this, we have a basic stock of cookware that may be used via prior agreement.

Do you have equipment to hire?
Studio users have access to our shoot spaces, overhead lighting rigs, and paper backdrops if needed. All photography and filming equipment, lights etc must be provided by the studio hirer. If you are using our audio booth, we do offer some equipment for hire (see below).

Can I record my podcast / voiceover / next single here?
We’re not sure this is the place to write and record a number one hit, but if you need space to record commercial audio, then we have a 3.2m x 2.15m booth that can be used for this purpose. With acupanelling to 3 walls, and a small workspace, Flux studio is ideal for recording a voiceover or podcast episode. We have microphones, boom mic and audio desk to hire, should you need them.

Is the space heated?
We have a fan-assisted heating system and a log burner. So forget about layering up (unless that’s your vibe), our studio can be heated to your needs.

Can I park nearby?
Of course. You can pull right up to the studio, to load-in and load-out, and we have free parking spaces available for your use. Additional parking available on a first-come-first-served basis. Watch this space for an electric vehicle charging port (coming soon).

I’m using models. Are there any changing facilities?
We have a dedicated and spacious dressing room, with a full length mirror, dressing table and illuminated make-up mirrors. We can also supply a clothing rail if needed. Power points are available for grooming appliances. We also have a comfy reception area if you have models waiting around.
